ZANAH is a project that seeks to inspire spending time outdoors in contact with nature and practicing sports outside as a way to support mental wellbeing.
Through photo prints that can be gifted anywhere in the world, ZANAH gives back a percentage of its profits to help make therapy and mental health support more accessible in Mexico.
ZANAH was started by Karla after her own lived experience with mental health in her 20s, which made her realize how important mental wellbeing is. Today, she continues to see nature, sport, and time outdoors as essential tools for balance and healing, and started ZANAH to share this perspective with others.
Now based in Switzerland after moving from Mexico, she spends her time exploring the Alps and the Mediterranean through cycling, hiking, skiing, and cross-country skiing. Through ZANAH, she shares this beauty while also giving back to mental health initiatives in her home country, where access to care is still more limited than in Switzerland.
Here you will find life around the Alps and the Mediterranean—from Zermatt to the Italian Riviera and beyond. The hope is that you discover inspiration, meaningful moments, and photography to gift to yourself or others, while also contributing to a greater cause.
