Created from a love of photography, movement and being outside, ZANAH is a place to discover beautiful ways to experience the outdoors - from cycling Alpine passes and skiing mountain valleys to hiking, traveling and finding exceptional places to stay along the way.

Behind ZANAH

Hi, I’m Karla - the founder and photographer behind ZANAH.

Originally from Mexico and now based in Zurich, moving closer to the Alps changed the way I spend my time. Cycling, skiing, hiking and exploring the mountains became part of my everyday life, with photography becoming my way of documenting it.

ZANAH grew naturally from that.

Today, ZANAH brings together my love for photography and the outdoors through fine art prints, visual storytelling for hotels and brands, and thoughtfully created gifts inspired by the places I explore.

The Creative Studio

ZANAH is also a creative studio working with hotels, destinations and outdoor brands to create photography, video and social-first visual storytelling.

The same world you see throughout ZANAH becomes the foundation for the stories I create for brands.
