Created from a love of photography, movement and being outside, ZANAH is a place to discover beautiful ways to experience the outdoors — from cycling Alpine passes and skiing mountain valleys to hiking, traveling and finding exceptional places to stay along the way.

Behind ZANAH

Hi, I’m Karla — the founder and photographer behind ZANAH.

Originally from Mexico and now based in Zurich, moving closer to the Alps changed the way I spend my time. Cycling, skiing, hiking and exploring the mountains became part of my everyday life, with photography becoming my way of documenting it.

ZANAH grew naturally from that.

Today, I share the places I discover and experiences worth going outside for, with one goal: to inspire more people to spend time outside.

The Creative Studio

ZANAH is also a creative studio working with hotels, destinations and outdoor brands to create photography, video and social-first visual storytelling.

The same world you see throughout ZANAH becomes the foundation for the stories I create for brands.
